Terms of Service
Last updated October 18, 2026
These terms cover your use of The Drum Teacher's Guide (“the Guide”) at drumteachersguide.com, provided by Chris Mattoon, Mattoon Drums & Percussion, Greenville, Michigan (“we,” “us”). By creating an account you agree to them.
Your account
You must give accurate information and keep your password private. An account is for one teacher. Please don’t share your login; each teacher who uses the Guide needs their own subscription. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
Subscription and billing
The subscription costs $9.99/month (plus any applicable tax) and renews automatically each month on the date you first subscribed until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel at any time from My account > Manage billing. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the month you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again. We don’t give refunds for partial months. If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it; if it can’t be collected, access ends. We’ll give at least 30 days’ notice by email before any price change.
What you may do with the Guide
While subscribed, you may read and use the Guide to plan and teach your own lessons, and you may print or save Student Progress Checklists for your own students and their families. You may not copy, republish, sell, share or distribute the Guide’s contents, in whole or in part, or use them to create a competing product. All content is © Chris Mattoon. All rights reserved.
Student records
Student lists, checklists and notes you enter are saved in your own web browser on your own device. They are not sent to us. You’re responsible for that information and for keeping a backup using Export backup. Clearing your browser data or changing devices can remove it.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the Guide available and accurate, but it’s provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We may update the content and features over time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the three months before the claim.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. We may update them; if we make significant changes we’ll let you know by email. Questions: info@drumteachersguide.com.
